Mixing

A good mix is where a track stops being a project file and starts sounding like a record.

Hands adjusting faders on a studio mixing console

We mix electronic music for artists and labels: techno, house, melodic and organic house, electronica, ambient and more. We start from your stems, listen for what the track is trying to say, and shape the balance so every element has its own place.

The focus is on the parts that matter most in this music: a controlled, powerful low end, a groove that moves, clear vocals and leads, and a stereo image with depth. You get a mix that holds up on a club system, in a car and on earbuds.

What's included

  • Level, panning and stereo balance
  • Kick and bass relationship and low-end control
  • EQ, compression and saturation per element
  • Reverb, delay and spatial depth
  • Vocal mixing and editing
  • Revision rounds based on your feedback

How we work

  1. Brief

You send stems and reference tracks and tell us how you want the record to feel.

  2. First mix

We build the mix and send you a version to listen to on your own systems.

  3. Revisions

We refine the mix based on your notes until it sounds the way you hear it.

  4. Delivery

You receive the final mix, ready for mastering, plus any versions you need.

Common questions

What do I need to send for mixing?
Export each track or group as a separate WAV stem starting from the same point, plus one or two reference tracks you like. Leave processing on the master bus off.
Do you mix genres other than techno and house?
Yes. We work across electronic music, including electronica, ambient, indie dance and downtempo, and on vocal-led productions.
Can you mix and master the same track?
Yes. Many artists book both, so the master is planned while the mix is being built.
